SAFFA Chair 1958

The SAFFA chair, long believed to be lost, is back. The SAFFA chair by designer Erika Schläpfer Thöne was considered lost for decades—until Robert Wettstein rediscovered this special piece of Swiss design history.

To mark International Women’s Day, he posted a video online offering insights into the history and significance of the chair. (Video in German)

The original SAFFA chair can now also be viewed in person in the studio window.
