The wire lamp was specially constructed for this space with material from the building.  It’s a Textile Atelier with a loom, workingtable and display shelves. It’s a mix between shop and studio.The space is lokated in a house what was built ca. 1930 by a cooperative building society. The whole settlement was renovated in 2012. I used for this lamp the image of the loom as a template and the old colored copper cable as decoration. During the renovation of the building I asked the electrician for the old electric cables to reuse them. The space is small and high so I built a lightweight huge lamp. The studio is visible through a large window from the street. The lamp creates an atmospheric light, if needed supported in part with other light sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
